Welcome to the return of the Property Brokers Gravel in Paradise Series for 2024. The first event is the 'Gravel Muster' in Middlemarch with a spectacular 918 meters of climbing up through the Nenthorn and views over the Strath Taieri's large glacial valley and river plateau. Pass through the ancient "Foulden Marr" fossil site which is estimated to have formed some 23 million years ago! The rugged hill ranges farmed with the country's finest Merino are also 'home' to the 'Musterer'. The event starts and finishes at the Railway Station on Snow Avenue, Middlemarch.

There are two grades to enter this year, with three category classes in each grade and separate age groups for both males and females.

Gravel 1 Grade: Long Course 66kms

Championship Class

(series winner of this with the fastest combined times male and female to be crowned GIP Champions 2024)

Ride Strong Class

(in conjunction with Farm Strong – Fastest Farmer/Farming community entrants, fastest combined times both male and female to be crowned as Ride Strong 2024 Champions)

E-Bike Class (pedal assist only)

(this will be a competitive class this year, but expect there to be some fun with medals and prizes!!)

Gravel 2 Grade: Shorter Course 54kms

Competition Class

Ride Strong

(in conjunction with Farm Strong – Fastest Farmer/Farming community entrants, the fastest combined times both male and female will receive medals)

E-Bike Class (pedal assist only)

(this will be a competitive class this year, but expect there to be some fun with medals and prizes!!)

Sign-on will be from 9:30 am to 10:15 am, Race briefing at 10:30 am and mass start at 11 am. Prizegiving will be at the Strath Taieri Hotel opposite the Railway station. Medals for podium finishes in both grades, all classes and all age groups. Spot prizes are kindly sponsored by My Ride Dunedin.

The iconic White Rocks is the second event of the Property Brokers Gravel in Paradise series of 2024. This iconic event the 'White Rocks' offers it all to the gravel racer with a roller coaster course showing off some of the vistas of North Otago. Wide panoramic views of the Waitaki and Kakanui Mountains are a feature with some thrilling downhill sections. Starting and finishing in the most surreal setting of the Elderslie Estate, steeped in farming history and historical buildings, the White Rocks is a 'must ride' circuit for all abilities and ages.

There are two grades to enter this year, with three category classes in each grade and separate age groups for both males and females.

Puketapu Gravel 'n' Tar

Welcome to the last round of the Property Brokers Gravel in Paradise Series for 2024. The Gravel 'n' Tar starts at the base of Puketapu, 'Sacred Hill'. A first-up climb on the tar seal of Horse Range Road takes you straight onto the tight, fast and furious technical gravel section, this short circuit will be navigated four times around by Gravel 1 class and three times in Gravel 2 class. Hang on tight to those bars as you are in for an exhilarating ride. Starting at DJ Murray Hall at East Otago High School, Horse Range Road, Palmerston, Otago and finishing on Fleming Road, with a short ride back to the start.

Series medals for all podium finishers in all grades, classes and age groups for male and female. Crowning of this year's Championship Gravel in Paradise male and female series riders, winner of Ride Strong Championship male and female series entrants.
